The fifth and last season is divided into three volumes. Volume 1 aired on November 26 with four episodes at 8:00 PM ET. The second volume is released on December 25, Christmas Day, with three more episodes. The finale will be shown on New Year’s Eve, 31 December 2025.

What’s Happening in Hawkins?
The last season was set in the fall of 1987. Hawkins confronts his darkest moment ever. The town is scarred by the Rifts opening into the Upside Down. Our favorite characters are once again united in one mission to find and kill Vecna.
But there are complications; Hawkins has been quarantined by the military. They are pursuing Eleven, and she goes into hiding. Familiar horror comes into play as Will Byers’ disappearance anniversary approaches.
Cast and Production Details
The main actors reappear in the finale. Lininda Hamilton joins the season as Dr. Kay, with Matt and Ross Duffer as creators, executive producers, Shawn Levy.
The Duffer Brothers disclosed that they had been aware of the last scene for six or seven years. They guarantee a dramatic, emotional finale that is a tribute to the series.
