South Indian beauty Samantha Ruth Prabhu also known as Samantha Akkineni was born 28 April, 1987 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She went to Stella Maris College, Chennai & completed her commerce degree. She started filmy career from movie Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa in 2010 that was her Tamil debut.
Followed by Telugu movie Ye Maaya Chesave in the same year, for which she received Filmfare Award for the category of Best Female Debut South. She also received Filmfare Best Actress Award for Tamil film Neethaane En Ponvasantham in 2012.
Samantha Ruth latest movie in 2018 include played role of Rama Lakshmi in film Rangasthalam & her upcoming movie released in this year are Telugu Mahanati and Tamil Nadigaiyar Thilagam scheduled on 9 May 2018.
